She got her first role at the age of fifteen as the protagonist of a popular television show , “Ogo Bodhu Sundori”. Due to the immense success of the show, a Hindi remake was made called “Sasural Genda Phool”. She was also the female lead in the show, “Chokher Tara Tui”. But because of some health issues, she quit the show early.
She was a part of the theatre group, Jojok, with whose collaboration she played the role of “Charulata” in a theatrical adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore’s Charulata.
